So, I wanted a new website and I was under the impression it wasn't very difficult to build one myself. Duuhhh...
I discovered Weebly and wow, did I like all the templates, the designs, the possibilities. I started to work with it. It look me 4 months to slowly build it into the website I felt was exactly what I wanted to bring to the women in my community. I finally launched it in the beginning of 2015.
Little did I know there is another language you need to learn when creating a website!
More than a year later, passionately working with new mothers but struggling with inner peace and balance to run 2 companies at the same time, I am ready to let go of manumanu massage all together, BUT it means Gentle Beginnings needs to grow and needs to be found on the internet by the Amsterdam Birth and Postnatal community. Not only by hearing from a friend, colleague, sister etc.
At one of our Birth Network Meetings I met Julia Szalai, a Hungarian doula and website expert with a big heart, open mind and lots lots lots of good ideas and knowledge. We started to chat and we agreed on exchanging our knowledge to help each others businesses grow.
I had no clue what happened behind the scenes of making a website and I slowly get a peek in the kitchen. Julia is taking me by the hand, doulaing me to create it myself, guiding me, showing me the possibilities. I am discovering it all and I quite like it too!
Yesterday I took some time to reorganize the page on Bengkung Belly Binding. I plan to write a blog on the sacred art of wrapping a mother's belly very soon!
So... To be continued!!!
